This was one of the more “fun” rooms of the house to design. I wanted it to be less white on white, and a little more fun – because let’s be honest, with three kids and a husband with a messy job, I knew I’d be spending a lot of time here!
Help! There are some spaces in our home that I always had a vision for – and some spaces, I’m just drawing a blank. I’m really struggling with this corner of our master bathroom. What would you put above or around the tub?
It’s only natural that the first space I share in our modern farmhouse is the half bath – it’s one of the first spaces you see when you enter! I’ve had an idea of what this space would look like long before we broke ground. I fell in love with this daisy tile when I saw @ashleybrooke use it in her guest bath renovation and I just knew I had to find a place for it in our home. It was on the pricier side per sq foot so I opted to use it in our smallest tiled space, and in a “high impact” space where many people would see it (this is the bathroom most guests will use when they visit!) Actually getting the tile here was a bit of a hassle (probably a story for another time) but now that it’s here and installed, I love it just as much as I had hoped!
